Chemical Spill Kit
Where the substance is a known laboratory chemical and a standard configuration applies.
For the incidents no standard kit covers. Assembled according to the intended use and matched to the substance, the spill volume and the disposal route.
The HAZ MED Specialised Spill Kit is an exceptional kit configured according to specialist response systems. It is assembled according to the intended use and matched to the substance, the spill volume and the disposal route.
For example, a Specialised Spill Kit may be a mercury spill kit, in which case the focus is on collecting the mercury without scattering the droplets, using appropriate chemically inert tools.
If the spill is battery fluid, the kit instead includes absorbents or neutralising agents compatible with the acids present in that fluid. The same approach applies to any unidentified chemical, large-scale incident or emergency hazard.
There is no fixed rule for the Specialised Spill Kit. What matters most is that it is not for general teams at all — it is intended specifically for teams that no other spill kit suits.
The contents are not fixed. The kit carries the structural components found in most kits alongside comprehensive multi-purpose tools and equipment, for example:
Specified per order. There is no standard configuration — the substance, the volume and the disposal route determine the contents.
Where the substance is a known laboratory chemical and a standard configuration applies.
Where the hazard is fuel, hydrocarbon or oil on an industrial site.
A specification for a specialised kit starts with a review of your procedures and incident log.
Substance, physical form, worst-case volume, where it is handled and how it must be disposed of. That is enough for us to draft a specification and quote it.
